I really like this well-made 2-stage snow blower and all the features it has.  I like the electric start capability since I don't have the strength to pull the cord. You start it be using an outdoor rated extension cord (not included) and the start button. The blower runs on gasoline and it weighs almost 130lbs. The tires are big and seem like it will help in going through a lot of snow. Maximum clearing width is 24 inches and clearing depth is 20 inches (great for Michigan winters).  The chute has a 180 degree turning field and has throwing distance of up to 40 feet. This self-propelled blower is rust resistant, has an ALL-STEEL auger equipped with an anti-clogging system, an included clean out tool for the auger (attaches to body of blower) and has an LED light (runs on the included battery) to make it easy to see where you're plowing in the winter mornings when it's still dark. It hasn't snowed yet in lower Michigan and isn't expecting to have plowable snow for weeks so I can't give you any feedback on the actual performance of this blower yet.  It has a 2-year warranty which I hope I don't have to use! The features of this blower are exactly what I was looking for!

Nice solid snow blower

This PowerSmart 24in 212cc electric start gas snowblower is extremely well-built! The night that it arrived it was raining and I didn't want it getting wet, so I had to bring it inside. My husband and I could barely lift it up our back steps. It's very, very heavy, but this is a testament to how nicely made it is! Assembly was pretty straight forward and took roughly 30-40 minutes start to finish. It was much easier getting it back outside once I could roll it. I was really impressed (and excited) that simply plugging it in allows for a quick and painless electric start. This is something that will be invaluable during storms this winter. The mechanisms all work perfectly. I couldn't test it in the snow, but I tested all the moving parts and they operated as expected. The drive-train is wonderful and will be so helpful in heavy snow. The machine is fairly loud when running, so ear protection would be advisable. The 24" wide path that it'll clear will make even clearing large swaths of my driveway and walkways fast and easy. I'm very impressed with the quality of this machine and have a peace of mind that I didn't have before owning this.

Everything you need to deal with the snow! Good quality, straight forward user friendly controllers, and you get so much for the price! Runs smoothly and enough power to clear snow with no lagging!

The PowerSmart MB7109A 24 in. 212cc 2-Stage Electric Start Gas Snow Blower is really nice! This snow blower is a little involved to put together but it's easy to use and it works well! I am super happy with this snow blower. The install is involved and it does require some tools that were not provided. The pictures in the instructions were somewhat small and left a lot to be desired. The overall process took about an hour and I am pretty savvy when it come to putting things together, but I was questioning myself a few times and had to look some things up. Especially when installing the skid shoes. The user manual is much more detailed as far as how to operate, clean, and safely run the machine. Once together and after adding the oil and gas it was smooth sailing. It's very easy to operate and really makes dealing with snow so nice! 

All in all, this is a really nice snow blower! It's a bit involved to put together but  I am super happy with the quality, how easy it is to run, and how well it works! I would absolutely recommend it!

Nice snow blower!

Just got this delivered and didn't find any issues with shipment. Everything was well packaged. Just a few things to do for assembly. We haven't had enough snow yet to report on how it will perform but after getting it ready to go my husband started it right up. It appears to be a well made machine maybe better for smaller areas which works for us....paths around the house, deck, in front of the garage and the driveway. 4 stars only because of the short length of time I've had it. Overall, nothing negative to write.

an essential winter tool

This was easy to assemble. It comes with four easy steps to put together. The tires come already pumped up, there are extra screws and pins for future use, it has lights on the front that work well that take 3 AAA batteries so you can see in the dark. The light shines bright enough without blinding you. It only took me about 30-45 minutes to make sure I had all the parts and put it together. So excited to get some snow so that I can actually use this. It will make it easier on my back. It moves once it starts up with minimal effort on my part. Now winter snow removal won't be so back-breaking with the heavy snow we get in our region.

This looks like a return or it was bad from the assembly lines.  It has arrows pointing to problems.  Had bolts where there were no predrilled holes to put them in and there was oil all over the new snowblower when we opened the box.  We were very disappointed to say the least.  And did a return.  But we bought this on a good deal on cyber Monday so now we are stuck paying full price for another one.  As we won't buy another of the same manufacturer.

Shipped broken snowblower

Purchased this snowblower for a Christmas gift. After putting it together discovered the gas cap will not thread onto the tank. The cap fits on my blower just fine, so it is clearly the threads on the gas tank. I contacted the company (DoBest) and they asked for pictures. Which I promptly sent. I also asked to do a return/ refund as I already punched another (not a powersmart) because I knew this would not be resolved by Christmas. Since asking for return/ refund ( days ago) I have not heard anything back from the company.

we ordered this and it was delivered about a week later. we watched the fedex guy flip it over top to bottom a few times then just leave it at the end of my driveway. needless to say it was badly damaged and had to be returned. they promised a replacement but then refused. had to fight with walmart to get a refund which i am still waiting on. didnt read the reviews until after our bad experience and really wish i would have and saved myself literary hours of pure aggravation. my neighbor ordered the same one, and never received it.

Fed Ex destroyed my blower so unfortunately I don't know how it works. Looked like it could have been nice. Refund waiting. Ordered another…hoping it's in better condition. This one was mutilated! Not to mention all the oil was dumped all over machine.
