Received this under desk exercise bike as a member of the Spark Reviewer Programand boy am I glad that I chose this ! There was a choice between this and a full size standard exercise bike but being honest with myself I knew I'd get more use out of the under desk model. In fact, I am pedaling at my breakfast nook table as I type this review. A few nights ago, I was pedaling as I watched Jeopardy! It's a great way to get some exercise while doing other things! It was easy to assemble and is substantial in weight and durability. It's a definite win for me !

Assembly is quick and the instructions are easy to understand, all tools included.
The straps for the pedals can adjust to fit bare feet or shoes
The wheel holder can be extended not just for all wheel sizes but under a couch.
With two AAA batteries the machine can be paired to a phone or tablet with their APP to track usage.

The machine is extremely quiet and does not move around much even without the wheel holder engaged. The only time I had the machine start to wobble was because I was leaning back in my computer chair very far.
At 22lbs it isn't necessarily "light" but I would say portable for sure.

If you want to get some exercise in but do not have enough space for a full sized exercise bike, the Progear 1000 is a functional replacement.
I would recommend this for work or home use, with a desk or just on the couch in front of the tv.

Really nice machine. Good quality. Heavy enough that it doesn't move while peddling. App isn't really what I was expecting, its not very involved for the machine. It's pretty basic, for mini floor machine.

I love this exercise bike. I haven't used the Bluetooth app yet. I use it at work everyday! It's heavy enough to feel sturdy without a mat underneath, and I love the connecting pieces for the roller on the bottom of my desk chair! That is my favorite feature bc it keeps me in place!
It has different tension settings which is great as I have had back surgery and this has completely changed my ability to work out!
I searched and researched (as I do w most things) for about a month before deciding on this one!
For the price I am thrilled with all that this bike offers!

I received the progear 1000 under the desk exercise bike on the behalf of spark reviewer. I love this bike. I don't make it to the gym anymore. I work and then go to school, I'm always busy to say the least so this is a great way for me to make my money and still get into shape. It fits perfectly under my desk at work. This bike has 14 levels of magnetic tension resistance. It comes with extendable chair hooks. It takes 2 AAA batteries that are included.

I bought this for 2 reasons: it had a carry handle, and it had the hook for a wheeled chair. It sucks there isnt a screen, but it has bluetooth to an app on your phone so you can save your stats. I dont care for stats as I mostly use this for mindless peddling when I'm sitting so I can get some sort of exercise in.
