great bag. It held a lot more then i thought it would.  my 2 sets of shoes on bottom, 3 jeans, 8 shirts, 8 panties, 8 socks, 3 night sets, and some small things like phone chord charger, watch charger, earbuds, fast charger, tablet and a couple more small things i brought. Overall its a great bag and way bigger then expected.

The Protege Rolling Drop-Bottom Duffel Bag is the most functional bag I have ever used. It is 30-inches which is a perfect size, and it has multiple compartments for ample storage. As you can see in my picture, the bottom of the bag has an extra zippered compartment for additional space. I was able to pack for me, my husband and baby while keeping everything organized in the various compartments. It has a push-button telescopic handle and wheels that make it simple to pull behind or you can use the handles on top. I also love the two-toned gray, orange and black design that matches everything. There is also netting on top for extra storage if necessary. I highly recommend this spacious bag for an overnight stay or a short vacation.

Amazing duffel bag!

Every Christmas I visit my sons in Salzburg. Have 9 in family to get presents and stocking stuffers for. Have bought this bag in the past because with the dropped bottom I can hide games and other presents from grandkids who live next door.  Also room for a long coat and high books for winter weather. 
Update: Bag packed, weighed 41 lbs which is under the 50 lb limit and yet left a bit of room for any last minute items. Arrived in perfect condition despite changing planes in Germany, shortened layover time due to snow storm, and worry that it wouldn't arrive with me at final destination. Another such bag I had years ago arrived with the zipper on small end pocket was wide open with contents gone. This time I was careful what I put there in case it also went “lost”.

Needed this bag for Europe

When we received this duffel bag we were very surprised on how roomy it was. We selected the Protégé 30" Rolling Drop Bottom Duffel, because of the drop bottom zipped compartment. This special bottom compartment is perfect for my husband to store his dress shirts and sports jacket for business trips. He even checked to see if the compartment would hold his suit for special business trips when he needs to wear suits and he was pleasantly surprised that they fit well. The compartment does not fit cloths with hangers on, but it still works well for what he needs. As shown in the pictures my husband stored 3 dress shirts and a sports coat. Even after taking it down stairs and rolling it to the car the cloths stayed in place. The duffel bag also has 2 zippered outside compartments that are perfect for items that you want to reach easily. The Protégé 30" Rolling Drop Bottom Duffel is huge inside and has so much room. My husband packed for a week and had extra room for to bring home extra items from the trip. The material is thick, the zippers seem to be tough and the bag appears to be very well made. The wheels on the bag are very sturdy and ride very smooth. The pull handle is the perfect height for this bag and very convenient to access. We look forward to getting a lot of use from this bag and would highly recommend this duffel bag.

Great Bag Very Roomy

This bag was bought to carry my church supplies back and forth. First let me say it is a lot bigger than I expected. I am able to carry a computer, microphones, offering and cleaning supplies, as well as a heavy Bible and notebook. The zippered compartment on the bottom is a bonus as I can store things we don't use all the time. It rolls smoothly, no problems. I inly wish it was not so unstructured because it is hard to zip when items shift.

Nice Travel Bag!

I'd buy it for the price to use once, twice maybe.  It's a little too large to really organize anything, it's just a big open duffel on wheels.  The handle is nice, tho.   However, when loaded, it's really out of balance and tough to maneuver.  Might be good if you are just stuffing it full of t-shirts and shorts, but it's a real pain to try to put nicer stuff or bags of cosmetics into and hope they survive.  For camping, rough, or kids weekend bags, this would probably work out just fine.

Good in a Pinch, but Unhandy

I like this bag, but the zippers are not heavy enough for travel. The compartment on the wheel end was worn badly on the first trip and the zipper wouldn't open all the way. The material frayed even more after the flight home.

Zippers are crap. Zipper broke the first time we used it. Nothing heavy, not overstuffed, normal packing and both the zipper broke and the zipper gave way from the duffel. My guess it is was not attached properly - but by the time we used it, it was past return date. NEVER AGAIN.

I was really disappointed with this rolling duffle. I bought it on August 22, 2023, traveled overseas that same evening, and by the next day the side was torn! I bought another rolling duffle from Walmart several years ago that looks similar, but the material on the older one was MUCH more durable than this one. I called Walmart right away to look into getting a refund but I kept getting sent from one phone number to the next. It's two weeks later and I still haven't gotten through to anyone who can help. I'm so frustrated to have spent $40 on a bag that lasted under 24 hours...

I don't recommend this. Broke on first use.

Please note that I received an used duffel. See pictures attached. My Mother in law leaves tomorrow. I asked for a luggage set and it didn't arrive on time so I bought this duffel and it's used and damaged. I'm so disappointed.
