The bedroom is darker than shown in the pictures - somewhere between light brown and green shade. The dresser was damaged upon opening the boxes - multiple visible scratches, broken wood part between drawers seen from the front and broken back panel, with pieces of wood in the drawer. Very disappointed with how that turned out. The drawers do not open easily, and only the top drawers have lining, all other ones have a rough, wooden texture, stained and easily releasing the stain after wiping. 
Even though I really like the overall look of this bedroom set, for the price it should be a much better quality, and of course there shouldn't be any damage. 
The delivery was very fast, Walmart usually is so great about delivering items on time and before. It was actually delivered nearly two weeks before my move date, because it was faster than promised. Because of that the entire furniture set was left to sit on an empty driveway of an empty home. Luckily I was able to make arrangements many hours later to safely move it into the garage - the entire pallet of huge boxes. 
I like shopping at Walmart, I love the deals and I will even take an early delivery over a late one, but the color and quality of furniture unfortunately is a disappointment.
