No. There is no HDMI input.

If you want to use HDMI ARC, this is not the the unit for you.

No HDMI input...It has optical (cable is included) and 3.5mm input.

The soundbar and sub-woofer have their own wall plugs, only battery is for remote. The sub-woofer connects to the soundbar wirelessly, so it only needs a power source.

I bought this for XBox gaming and movies on a 40" Samsung UHD tv.   It pairs up beautifully with the dimensions of the tv and the sound quality probably couldn't get much better. Plenty of power for the smaller room where the tv is located and if surround is not a necessity. Optical cable is included, so no need for an additional purchase. Mounting brackets are also included for all mounting. Lastly, the wireless Bluetooth subwoofer pairs automatically with the soundbar, making setup effortless.

It was so easy to set up....what I paid for it was surprising and it sounds awesome! I love the Bluetooth, playing music from my phone is great, the sound quality in the music, tv,and when I play movies is just so clear like I'm in a theater. I plan to buy another for my son and would recommend it to others as well.

It's very sleek. Great, clear sound. I would recommend. It's not the loudest, but it's loud enough. I put the sub behind the couch to enhance the sound.

The Sound Bar makes a definite improvement over the sound from the Samsung 43 inch flat screen.  After set-up , I was disappointed with an echo,  I wish someone would have told me that I need to kill the sound on the TV.  It's all good now.

I bought this for my grandparents as a Christmas present and gave it to them early so I could  install it for them. They just purchased a new Samsung tv and figured this was a good companion present. It was easy to hookup and the sound improvement over the factory tv speakers is amazing. You don't realize how poor of quality the sound is on a tv until you compare it to this. This is a must have!

Good simple inexpensive sound bar

I was excited to get it home and start using it.  I took me all day to figure stuff out which should have taken only about an hour.  The next day I tried again as well as looking at You Tube and still wouldn't work. I took it back and was going to get another one a little better. I was unable and then went to Best Buy and got a better one then what Wal-Mart had. It only took me about half hour to get setup and running. Also the sales people at Best Buy are more educated in that stuff. But still like Wal-Mart.
