Based on U650CV-UMC / U650CV-UMS they are 38" apart.  The feet are also 12" deep from the front to the back.

I had exact same issue. Yes it will fit on a 40inch stand.

This tv will not fit on a tv stand no less then 59&quot;. Trust me the legs are 57 and 1/2&quot; apart. the legs can  not be put on backwards!!! It will not let you!! Trust me, I had to order a 60&quot; tv stand!!!! Another couple of hundred dollars, because of the wrong answers!!

I bought this tv so I know. The legs are 36" apart in front. The front of the legs are about 11" from the side of the tv.  Fran is wrong.

You guys are funny. Using a tape measure isn't that complicated. The tv screen itself is 57.5" wide and the legs are 53" apart. They are very close to the edge of each side of the tv. If you were setting the tv on something, I would recommend that it be at least 55" wide. If you go that close though, just pray you don't have a train go by, or earthquake...It would vibrate right off the edge. I bought a wall mount but ended up being able to rig a couple of milk crates on each side of my entertainment stand shelves. Trust me...I measured very carefully so that you aren't left to wonder. I wondered the same thing when I bought it. And also, the way the legs fit on the bottom of the tv (3 screws in each leg), there's no way to put them on backwards, and they are marked L and R.

How far apart are the legs...If I were to put them on backwards would it fit on an 40 in stand?

We connected our TV to our cable and the cable to our wireless speaker. We also connected the blue ray to wireless speakers. Everything worked great.

no but with a fire stick or fire tv from amazon you can make any tv bluetooth capable.

I don't know of ANY tv that sends or receives bluetooth.

You will get better sound quality from your sound at from a digital optical cable or an HDMI
