This table is a little on the small size. It could fit 4 average size adults (less than 200 lbs each), but it's use is more for 2 adults and 2 children, with one adult and one child on each bench. It's very heavy duty, so although I don't know the weight limit, it appears to be very sturdy, both the benches and tables. It is definitely intended for adult/family usage - not a kid-sized table or set up.

I think it is a little tight for 4 average sized adults but would work with a side table to hold things as well. Fine for 2 adults and 2 children.

we had 4 adults at the table at once, each of us were at least 225 lbs.
This table is abuot 4 in. thick hard plastic, the seats are 3 in. thick should hold up to any thing. we were on dirt at camp ground the table did not move.
when folded up we stored it on the table inside the camper of course when the table was put down.

This set will accomadate children or adults that are HWP ... I believe I read that the benches will support 500 lbs. vice 400 for other tables I considered.

This table is good for adults and four adults would have no trouble fitting around the table using the benches that come with it. It would also work great for children. We had 300 pounds between two adults on one bench with no issue but I do not know the weight limit. The table cannot be used to sit on! We use the table for camping and it is perfect. We have also used it to set up our camp stove at one end and cook but then four adults don't fit around the table unless you take the camp stove off the table.

We sit 4 adults at it comfortably. I don't know about the listed weight but it works great for us.

Four adults can sit and eat at this as long as your a little friendly. You wouldn&#39;t have a lot of space between you on the bench. Also there wouldn&#39;t be a lot of extra space for serving dishes. We make our plates up and bring them to the table. We keep condiments and bottle of soda on it but large bowls in addition to 4 place settings would be very tight. It is also very sturdy the table and benches legs lock in place.

To answer the question of the surface being rough or smooth...
It&#39;s rough. If you need to write on it maybe put a something underneath

It’s a semi rough surface, intended to avoid s slippery board, you could use a smooth board on top of the table, very strong and resistant, and you won’t be disappointed

The table surface is rough textured ... It will be good to hold my models but not so good to write on.

The top is slightly bumpy. Two pieces of paper thick would be OK for writing.

I think it says somewhere that the bench height is about 16 inches ... I set the table and benches up and they seem to be a good match ... The table has two height positions ... The lower is good for children and the higher one for adults. Try looking for the specifications tab for more info ... Also I believe I read that the benches will support 500 lbs ... That's more than any others that I considered buying.

Love this table. Works perfectly for our RVing needs.  Benches fold and store under the table making this unit as compact as possible. It's study and holds 4 people very well.  I'd recommend this table and benches to all campers.

Folding table and benches

Bought this table for a 13 day camp out on a Elk Hunt. Used this table in the cook shack. 4 grown hunters sat around it for meals each day . Easy to set up worked great and great value.

I bought this table to use with my RC airplanes when I travel to flyins and it seems to be a good choice for that purpose. Also we have small neighbor children and it will be a good place to seat them when we have grill outs. The self stowing benches are very nice however the whole package is a bit heavy if you have to carry it very far. All in all I am pleased with this set.

Great Table and Benches for Camping

I purchased this table because I liked the fact that it was portable and fits perfectly in our camper. It is heavier than I would want but it is too practical for me to focus on the weight. I want it to be durable and last a long time. The design is rather poor. The metal is attached to the plastic with some of the smallest screws money could buy and the table top was very loose before we had even had a chance to use it. The screws were pulled almost completely through the plastic. Instead of going through the hassle of returning it we glued some washers to the plastic and put a long screw through the entire ridge. Worked like a charm! The benches are very sturdy, my daughter is pregnant and weighs 287 lbs, she sat on the bench and it didn't sag at all.

Handy camp table

I orders this set two times in last few weeks . Both where cracked on table . I think we would like if can get set that is not cracked. The benches seem real sturdy . I will try to order another set

This table is great for camping when you have no picnic table, works perfectly for 4 adults. Only problem is we have had to return it twice because it was damaged when we took it out of the box. You should order thru your actual walmart and have it delivered to store and have it inspected before and after it ships.

The first table I received was damaged from shipping, this table is heavy, found that the screws that hold the main leg assembles to the bottom of the table were loose went to tighten they were stripped into the plastic and just spin, has to be modified with bolts and nuts so the table don't fall off the legs , table does fit 4 adults , I kept the table , I would suggest checking all the attachments on the table legs and the benches before use, so no one gets hurt. This all happened right out of the box , It's a hassle to return I had to return the first table that was damaged in shipping to the store , they gave me a credit and I had to order online again and hope the next one didn't come damaged ,
