Hi - my 55 inch plasma sits beautifully atop this media center. My DVR, cable box, AppleTV, HDMI splitter and DVDs all fit nicely within the shelves. The fireplace doesn&#39;t have a remote, but it works wonderfully. The buttons on the front are easy to find and use. I selected the driftwood version and it looks terrific - modern and sleek.

No there&#39;s no remote and yes the heat blows out pretty darn good.

I've been dying to purchase this item for about over a year now. It's even more perfect in person and looks amazin in my Livingroom. At night with the fire light on- it's gives such a nice cozy warm look in my Livingroom.  I'm very glad I finally got this tv stand.

It took a little over 2 hours to put together but the finished product, is so nice. The fake fire looks great and the heat is just right. Takes a little time to warm up my living room but I have high ceilings.
