It is press board, but the wood grain finish is exceptional. I find it to be a very attractive piece for any room in the house.

Yes. its a sturdy hard particle board with a veneer coating but of good quality. I&#39;d expected the quality to be somewhat less. but I was pleasantly surprised

Is the quality of the wood and the table in general good?

Great question! The maximum weight this great desk can hold is 110lbs.

I haven&#39;t been able to use it yet. I plan on creating a studio in the extra bedroom and its better than your average particle board, self build furniture. this being metal, allows for you to unscrew the thing down and collapse it to move.

For the price, it was a good purchase.  The desk arrived quickly which surprised me because I ordered a different desk for my daughter on Amazon and it took 3 months to get. Hubby assembled the desk and when asked, he said the screw holes lined up, all the parts were in the box and as long as you follow the directions, you'll be fine.   Again, for the price - it's perfect and there were no issues.  It's a win win in my book.

Pleasantly surprised

I love how easy the desk was to put together.  It's very spacious for all of my computer equipment along with my huge canon printer. Best money i spent with no regrets hands down. Now all i need to get is a rug and desk lamp, then i'll feel complete.

BEST INVESTMENT

I just ordered this desk on June3rd. I read the reviews and was sooo worried but I really needed an L shaped desk so I took a chance on it.  GREAT BUY!!!!  It looks EXACTLY like the one that's pictured!  The wood finish is smooth, every part fits neatly like a puzzle, the base is very sturdy and since I work with multiple monitors, Im glad the table tops are very spacious! I am not a "handy man" type woman at all, but it was very easy to put together too!!!  Im really surprised!  I believe I got more quality than I expected at such a low price!  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

PERFECT!!!!!!!

I upgraded my desk to this one because I was desperately needing more desk space. With two monitors and my PC (it doesn't fit in the PC holder on the floor) I had to buy monitor arms to attach to the desk in order to have enough space, but it was well worth it. I absolutely love this desk.  It is spacious, and I no longer feel claustrophobic and trapped while sitting at my desk. The build quality is great as well and it feels very sturdy. I highly suggest getting this desk.

Wow! the instructions on how to put it together were not very helpful, luckily there is YouTube! The corner piece does not fit correctly and the keyboard tray does not come out far enough but....it does exactly what I needed it to do. I work from home and have a Windows PC, laptop, 2 monitors, 2 keyboards, 2 mice. So the room it gives me makes my day so much easier than having to re-arrange everything in between my first and 2nd job. The first picture is what I had before I bought the desk.
