The VD1 is everything you would need in a smart home doorbell. With a 1080P camera and an ability for you to detect any motion in the day or night with infrared night vision, you can get live alerts if anyone comes within its field of vision approximately 166 degrees (Wide Angle). You are able to share your alerts with your family as well and not just stay on one phone, it can be shared with the whole family so you are all on the same page if something should happen. If you just so happen to have a visitor the VD1 gives you Two-Way Audio for you to communicate with whoever is at your door whether that be a family member or a mailman. The VD1 can withstand the elements with its weatherproof design you don't have to worry about rainy days and stormy nights because the VD1 is always on watch duty.

The doorbell is pretty straightforward to install given the instructions that came with it. However, I find that it is essential to ensure that the doorbell, router, and phone are really close to the router when attempting to connect it to the first time. Also, the first initial SD card reset takes longer than normal, (I think it does not do a “quick format” like computers allow you to choose), and it may even timeout towards the end, but I just restarted the app and all was good to go. I didn't find a way to restart the doorbell once I was done for purposes of refreshing the system prior to actually setting it up, but that is not a big deal. The battery retains power extremely well, as I've already been using it for almost 2 months now, with little drop in power, though I use the camera mode to see visitors, receive notifications about persons detected, and have doorbell pressed on every other day. The day time resolution is very clear and satisfying, however the night time can be pretty dark, depending on how much light is in the surrounding. I don't think that's a problem as it's similar to most cameras in night mode. The included home security cameras are paired the same way the doorbell is, and works great for indoor monitoring of my cats. I only hope I could buy an additional door chime to pair with this, but I don't think Xodo actually allows for additional chimes to be bought separately at this point. Overall, quite a decent set of home security doorbell system.

Easy to setup and control via the app

I am very happy with this doorbell kit, it was packaged nicely and I was surprised how clear the video quality, it has amazing night vision too!  I love the 2 way talk feature and how I get notifications to my phone in real time without missing a minute!  Iâm very happy with this product and love there are no monthly fees like some other comparable products.

The Setup assemble with this Doorbell is very easy to connect. Make sure to connect to your Wi-Fi network and give permission to access. The Instructions are very well written and detailed. Picture Quality is acceptable, depending on the brightness of outdoor. This Doorbell let me know when i get packages delivered, when people approach my door, or ring my doorbell. The motion sensitivity is adjustable that works for me because I can set it up as High to make sure I capture any movements. I have not received any false alarm since I install it. No wiring needed which is great.

I bought the Xodo Smart Security Camera VD1 at Walmart, received it pretty well packed and protected at my new address. I installed it on my Android Phone as well as in my Fire Tablet getting happier along the process because it's kind of easy, it has a very good look and the camera's view is fantastic, the sound is good also. It is more then what I expected. I love the image quality it is so clear to see. The sound is just perfect as well. I'm sharing the devices with family members and is wonderful because they receive notification as well and images that way we are all connected and can see, hear, speak with no need to be at the house. We also feel peace of mind knowing we have some control on what we see and who shoes up at our door or surroundings. Peace of mind don't have a price and XODO just gave us that, and the price is reasonable and it was so easy to pair the instructions are precise. Thank you XODO for such a great product and even better price.

The Camera goes great with my paint and hardware. It is very easy to install and also easy to set-up the app. It took me maybe 5 minutes to link the devices to my phone. I love that it comes with the two additional cameras in the bundle because you would normally pay this price just for the doorbell iteself.  For the price the audio and video connection is great. 

Overall I think these cameras and app are great and work smoothly. I would recommend to anyone looking for a way to get some home security at a great price.

Awesome functionality for an affordable price

We ordered this bell and hooked it up. After hooking it up, the system won't pair with the app! No part of it will work unless it's paired with the app! Sending this garbage back!

Piece of junk!!

so far it been over a month since my purchase, and my security system spends more time offline than anything. I have good Internet connection yet my camera's are ALWAYS offline.
